The AS Level Business Edexcel course is designed to provide students with a foundational understanding of key business concepts and principles. It usually covers a range of topics, including business objectives, marketing, finance, operations management, human resources, and external influences on business.
Students are assessed through exams and coursework, and successful completion of the AS Level is often a requirement for moving on to the A Level Business course. Overall, it’s a way for students to gain foundational knowledge in business studies during their early post-secondary education.

– external influences.
Paper 1: Marketing and people
● Written examination.
● The paper comprises three sections.
● Students answer all questions from all sections.
● Sections A and B each comprise one data response question broken down into a number of parts.
● Section C comprises one extended, open-response question.
● Duration: 1 hour 30 minutes.
● 80 marks available.
